here is the short version of the past few days:
commercials. wendys. mountains. rainbow. rivers. waterfalls. more mountains. trees. green. everything is green. unlike california. which is made out of concrete. movies in the car. hotel breakfasts. swimming in shark contaniers. now dont take that seriously, its a bit of an inside joke. more mountains. lots of singing. meredith telling me to please stop singing morgan do you ever stop singing. rain. a van hike. the arches. yellow brick nothingness. taco bell. pillow people. cute houses. someone called me "babe" and "honey" in the same sentence. which means we are officially in the country. southern accents. which rock the world.

ill stop here. im getting carsick.

Remarkable Randomness I've Seen

• A street called "Zzyzx"
• Loser Mountain ... it had a huge L on it
• Zion National Park
• "Turkeyopoly"... it was a monopoly board game with turkeys on it. ROFL.
• The Las Vegas: sphynx, pyramid, statue of liberty, fifty foot guitar
• A purple skyscraper... melanie would have died from the awesomeness
• Ice Age - Dawn of the Dino ... I laffed. mucho. call me lame.
• A gambling fireman
• The Hoover Dam
• A 109 degree haze followed fifteen minutes later by an intense 68 degree lightning storm
• A mountain goat
• The Colorado river
• Lots of mountains. way too many mountains.
• And last but not least, a McDonald's with NO trash on the floor - it didnt feel normal...

... so i was going to upload pictures, but it gave me this "upload maximum reached" buisness that made me crinkle my nose. i havent crinkled my nose in years, seriously. it was fun.

North Carolina or Bust

So we're moving accross the country.
We, being my family.
I, however, am coming back here for college.
The next week or so I will be doccumenting our thrilling adventures as we venture forth in our GMC and Uhaul.

Beginning with...

Sleeping in the trunk

Shelling peanuts...

and chucking the shells onto the floor. mazzletaff.

riffle hunting (ferocious, aren't we?)

eating alligator (yes... it tastes like chicken... just like everything else)



and an intense game of "accross-the-country-bingo"

So as you follow our journey...

I am beginning to feel a little old

this is us graduating 8th grade, and i feel like that was just yesterday...

GO CLASS OF '09!!

4 days

... till graduation.

I'm super excited about graduating, moving on, summer time, college, my college friends, and all that jazz...

... But I'm so super bummed about leaving all my PCHS friends. They're amazing, seriously... I will never forget them, ever.

What I'll miss the most about high school:

• 3:00 panick attacks on Friday
• everyone knowing my name
• all the teachers telling me to stop laughing in class, even though i was actually laughing at the lame joke they just told
• how me and all my friends would get together and talk about how all our public school friends thought we were loners who wore pajamas all day
• doing homework at starbucks .... (actually, i can still do that in college...)
• having to take 30 minutes to explain what school i go to and that yes, my school is in an office building
• all of my "siblings"
• all the practical jokes, even the ones played on me
• spanish class with deej, art class with alex and shannon, comp lit class with the mysterious singing, falling out of my chair in speed reading and note taking, moving boxes for that history class, yearbook staff, NHS with emmy and pogo and mojo, biology labs with audra and alex b, driver's ed with jennie, "P.E." class with emmy
• that one kid that kept saying "hi morgan!" and to this day i have no idea who he is...
• the amazing and helpful teachers that we called by their first names... even though it was kinda creepy that they always knew about every corner of my life
• kara telling me, and only me, to shut up, while the rest of the world was talking, too...
• checking my rolling file, to again see that nothing was there...
• trying to find a parking space among the limited amount we have at school ;)
• millions of hugs....everyone at my school are hug-greeter-people. love it.
• learning to type a billion miles an hour... and when people from other schools see me typing that fast, being able to say "oh its because i go to an online school..."
• being able to say, "ohh i know you... well i dont really know you... but i mean we knew each other on the message board... but i never met you in person...."
• laughing.... sooo much laughing....
• the feeling you get after turning in a portfolio.... its liberating, amarite?
• so much more......
